Tyketto at JBs, Dudley. This promises to be a great gig, so don't miss it!!

Tuesday 7th October 2008
The new album Oblivion has been out a few weeks now, and we have some new reviews for you to check out in the
reviews section! We hope to have news of some more gigs very soon, but we will be headlining
the Z Rock Talent search at the Crewe Limelight on November 9th!
Thursday 10th July 2008
Steve Price from ARFM will be talking to Nick on his radio show on Saturday
July 12th. The show starts at 6pm so tune in to hear about the new album, Oblivion, and whats coming up in the world of Eden!
Nick has also taken the time to explain the new album track by track;
This album is quite different from the first. It’s more
melodic and it’s heavier, but hasn’t lost any of the
grooves that we had first time around. Lyrically it has
light and shade. Some tracks have a more serious “what’s
going on in the world today” content while others are
just…well…..lyrics…..about whatever! The important thing
for us was to write and record an album of catchy melodic
rock tracks that mixed up the 70s, 80s and 90s and had a
sprinkling of modern rock for flavour. Just put in the CD,
turn the fucker up and enjoy!
OBLIVION
I guess with all that’s going on around us at the moment,
it’s hard not feel the desire to put it into song! This has
an eastern flavour to it and is very anthemic. We decided
to put it as the opening track as it’s such a big song. One
line pretty much sums up the message of the song…”when we
bleed, we bleed the same”.
NOTHING
A great riff from Vince! All about how some people are
ignorant about other people. The way they stare at someone
because they dress different, how they look through someone
because they aren’t “normal”. What’s normal anyway?
KHARMA COMING
Vince doing his best Zakk Wylde. A monster riff and groove
in a track that is soooo good to play live. The song is a
no brainer really… “What goes around will come around”
HIGHER
A very “up” song and went down a treat on the recent House
of Lords tour.
AS GOOD AS IT GETS
One of my favourite tracks and the last one written for the
album. Very catchy and loads of groove. Another track that
went down a storm on the House of Lords tour.
THE LAST GOODBYE
Dedicated to Ray Gillan who is one of my greatest heroes
and inspirations. R.I.P. Ray.
I DON’T DO THE BLUES
An anti-love song. No crying over lost love, more like
“fuck you and on to the next”!
NEW TATTOO
This song came from a great grooving riff that was chopped
out of a song from the first album because it didn’t fit.
It was too good to waste though, so it was used in the
first song we wrote for this album.
FOR CRYING OUT LOUD
We went for an Audioslave mixed up with Lenny Kravitz vibe
on this track. A pretty unrelenting song!
SAY THAT YOU WILL
This was going to be a bonus track but Steve Newman said it
was one of his favourites and he would chuck his dolly out
of the pram if it didn’t make it to the album…. so here it
is. Written at the same time as “for crying out loud” and
in that Audioslave riffing vibe.
CAN’T SLOW DOWN
All about Extreme Sports fanatics, who are complete nutters!!
The heaviest track on the album.
Friday 11th April 2008
Eden are pleased to announce the arrival of new drummer Lynch Radinsky who has previously played drums in Vince O'Regan's former band Pulse.
Vocalist Nick Workman has said "Lynch brings in an energy and groove that the material on our new album "Oblivion" requires".

Oblivion will be released through Z Rock Records
on July 28th 2008 and features the following tracks:
1. Oblivion
2. Nothing
3. Karma Coming
4. New Tattoo
5. Higher
6. As Good As It Gets
7. Last Goodbye
8. For Crying Out Loud
9. I Don't Do The Blues
10. Say That You Will
11. Can't Slow Down
Friday 4th April 2008
Hot off the press - after lots of interest following the title track of Oblivion being featured on
Rock247Online and
www.melodicrock.com, we've made the full song
available on our myspace page.
We hope you like it and come and see us play it live at our upcoming shows!!
Monday 10th March 2008
Z Rock Records are extremely proud to be able to
announce the signing of EDEN to a worldwide deal.
The UK outfit which features Nick Workman [Kick] and
Vince O'Regan [Bob Catley] have produced a solid melodic
hard rock album which bears no resemblance to the bands
previous outing “Open Minds”. Eden have progressed and
produced an album which features influences from
Whitesnake, Led Zeppelin and Queensryche to name but a
few. Oblivion could seriously be one of the best English
melodic hard rock albums of the last decade and that is
not said lightly.

Oblivion will be released on May 12th
There are live dates in the UK to support their eagerly
awaited new album, Oblivion. The band have acquired the
support slot for most of the House Of Lords May UK tour.
In addition the band have also been added to the Z Rock
08 line up on May 17th.
Tour Dates:
May 13th - London, Camden Underworld with House of Lords
[0207 267 3939]
May 14th - Crewe, Limelight with House of Lords [01270
251929]
May 17th - Birmingham, Asylum Z Rock 08 Festival

Friday 28th September 2007
Ok so the album will not be out Oct 8th.
This is due to a couple of things. First, Majestic are
going through some major business changes. The delay
will mean better promotion of the album etc etc.
Secondly, this delay has given us more time to tart a
few things up a bit and also get an outside person to
mix the album. No names just yet but you will all know
the name!
Sorry for the delay but we want things done right this
time and if a delay is what it takes.......so be it.
Don't forget the gig at JB's on the 21st Oct with
support from the excellent SACRED HEART.
See you all there,
Nick
Monday 28th May 2007
An update at last.
Yes!! We are 90% done with album number 2 and we are
very pleased with it. At the same time as recording the
album we have been rehearsing for the upcoming gigs. It
is our intention to play a lot of new songs for you guys
at these gigs. We will be announcing release dates and
label details once they have been finalised. What I can
give you is the full track listing (not in any order)
Karma Coming
For Crying Out Loud
The Last Goodbye
Higher
I'm Nothing
I Don't Do The Blues
Oblivion
As Good As It Gets
Can't Slow Down
New Tattoo
You Say That You Will
I will be talking to the record company soon about
covers and stuff so can't really tell you anything on
that front. Release date is looking to be around
September time. Anyways, I gotta get back to it.
More news as I get it.
Cya,
Nick.
Thursday 15th March 2007
Hey all!
Quick update on all things EDEN. The guys have now 80%
completed 8 new songs for album no.2. Al, James and Paul
still have bits to do on these but things are moving
along very well.
A few gig dates you might want to put in your diary.
June 10th: Dudley JBs
June 15th The Gasworks in Bradford
Support on the 10th and 15th comes from Tomorrow the
World. This is a new band formed by Craig from Taras
Secret.
More dates will be announced as and when they are
confirmed. We are also hoping to give you a release date
for the album soon.
Cheers,
Nick.
Thursday 1st February 2007
Hello to you all
Update time again. First things first, no the band have
not split up and never had done. I don’t know where
these rumours come from but it’s not the case. The guys
have been busy recording the follow up to “Open Minds”
and so far it is sounding amazing!! Rather than ignore
what people had to say about the first album (all bar
one review was excellent, with some constructive
comments), the guys have taken it onboard and acted on
it where they feel it was needed. On “Open Minds” Nick
and Vince had only just met so it was more of an
experiment, this time round they are really able to find
that niche and go for it!!! Tracks so far are:
Can’t Slow Down. A really fast and furious rocker of a
song that will get you to work very quickly if played in
the car!!!
New Tattoo. A funky track with a huge chorus.
Oblivion. In the same style of Neon Lights but with more
balls.
For Cryin’ Out Loud. AC/DC meets Nickelback with even
bigger bollocks.
That’s where things are at the moment. These tracks
still need bits and bobs doing to them but they are 75%
done. Another track is set to be recorded in a couple of
weeks (when Nick finishes writing the vox!). We are also
looking at re-recording “Neon Lights” as it was only
available in Japan and a lot of you guys heard it live
and wanted it. So taking that into account, the album is
well and truly on the way. Bigger chorus and bigger
grooves. BRING IT ON.
Tour dates coming soon once we have finalise a few
things (dates, venues…..everything) We would like to do
some dates April/May time so keep ‘em peeled.
Take care.
Tuesday 19th December 2006
Hello all. It's been a while since I did a front page
update! Having said that we haven't had much to report
over the last few weeks or so. It has been a great year
for us in that we got our album released, but a shit year
in that we feel it could have done a great deal better
had people actually known it actually existed!!!! We had
great reviews (all bar 2 were set up by the band) but
for reasons unknown to us the record company did not
place one ad in any magazine or on any website. We did
get an advert in the Bloodstock program and that it
seems is the all the promo of the cd that we got. Not
good enough. I know what you are thinking…..Nick should
have known better after the last KICK cd. But to be
fair, that was not all down to Majestic as KICK were not
available to tour. EDEN however were available and did
all that we could. Anyway, we will have to discuss with
Majestic the 2nd album in the new year!!
On a more positive note. Now a few people do know of us
and what we are about I hope we can get a few more
bigger gigs next year. We are starting to try and get a
few contacts going now, so you will know when we know.
Album No2 is a couple of songs in. New Tattoo is a
grooving rock song with a huuuuuuuuge chorus and Can't
Slow Down is the heaviest thing we have done and could
open or close a show in style. Can't wait to share them
with you all next year.
I will try and do more regular updates and will
hopefully be putting some live camcorder recordings from
Bloodstock on the site in the new year. So on that note,
I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Ta Ta, Nick.
Thursday 3rd August 2006
Well it's been a while but finally another update on all
things EDEN. Firstly, thanks to all of you who attended
the album launch. We were more than pleased with the
turn out (100+) with the gig falling on a night England
were prolonging our pain in the world cup!!! We have
since done a couple more gigs and things are really
tightening up now. A rehearsal room is no substitute for
the real thing so 3 shows in and the boys are sounding
great. You can read a review for the Little civic gig at
www.rockblogger.co.uk There is also some footage from
the gig filmed by Ian at Rockblogger, of "How
Far You
Are". I have been to some hot and sweaty gigs in my
time but that one was ….phew!! You will see just how hot
by watching the video.
A few people are having trouble getting hold of the cd
(Majestic are speaking to Cargo who distribute the cd)
so we have set up an email account and are now selling
them from there. Place your order and pay by paypal and
the cd will get to you within a couple of days (Royal
mail permitting). The ebay account name is edenband
(took us a while to come up with that one). Due to the
guys not living that close to one another, these cd's
are not signed. However, if you want a signed CD we can
sort that for you but it will take longer for the cd to
get to you. The guys will be getting together just
before the next gig which is Aug 11th in Sheffield at
The Boardwalk.
Promo for the album is rather scarce at present but the
band have been assured that it is all forthcoming!! So
what can you do? Well we need to start getting people on
to this site and letting them know that EDEN exist.
Start hitting message boards posting about EDEN and
let's see what we can do to get this great band off the
ground. Gigs are happening so come and support the band
and bring a friend or 3. You won't be disappointed with
the live show!!!
Until next time ...
Monday 19th June 2006
Hi all………….I'm back!
Haven't done an update for a while, but only because I
have been busy with other EDEN related stuff. So, other
than the problems suffered from the first print of the
album, things are going well! The CD is available
from Amazon and play.com from Monday 3rd july and in the
shops the following Monday. The album is already listed
on Amazon. You can also buy your copy from this here
website. We are in the process of setting that up but in
the meantime all you need to do is email us through the
contact link and we can give you details of how to pay
from there. T shirts are also available and judging from
how many we sold at the launch, they will go quite
quickly. Obviously you can get both cd's and T shirts
from all of our gigs.
I believe that the album will be reviewed in the next
issue of Classic Rock (not the one just out) and the mag
will also feature an ad!! European release and Japanese
release are both July 26th.
Keep your eyes open for gigs being added. Nothing else
confirmed yet but we are looking at a few options.
Thank you so much to all of you who came to the launch,
we had a blast (pun intended). The gig was filmed and I
hope that we can share some of that with you just as
soon as we have it.
So what next? Well more gigs. I really hope you can all
make it to the Little Civic gig and bring as many mates
as you can. I know that the Rock Cafe were quite
surprised at how many we had for the launch, as Sundays
are renowned for being quiet and also England were
playing. So if we can keep up the kind if reputation for
bringing in the crowds then the bigger gigs are gonna
come!!!!
Coming soon...

Saturday 6th May 2006
Summer is here…….well today it is anyway!!!
Depending on when you read this, its only 51 days until
“Open Minds” will find its way into your cd collections
(I hope), but only 50 days until you can hear it from
start to finish in front of your very eyes and ears. I
am very pleased and excited to say that we are going to
be bringing it to you live sooner than we even expected.
These days it seems that the “Album launch party”
doesn’t exist so we are giving it a rebirth. On June
25th 2006 EDEN invites you to attend it launch party at
the Stourbridge Rock Café. The band will be playing the
whole album plus a few covers here and there.
There will be a support act on the night, however we
have not decided on who it is yet. Also on the night we
will have our very own Rock DJ.
We want to make this a special night for the fans and
the band so every effort will be made for this night.
Tickets go on sale in the next couple of weeks (when
they have been printed) and will be £5.00 in advance or
£6.50 on the night. If you would like a ticket please
contact us through the website on the
CONTACT link and
we can take your details etc. Tickets can also be
purchased from the Stourbridge Rock Café (follow the
link - www.rockcafe2000.fsnet.co.uk).
I know a lot of you will need to travel a fair way to
attend, but it will be worth it!! More info as and when
it’s confirmed, so until next time………
Cya,
Nick
Saturday 16th April 2006
Hey folks
A couple of updates for ya!! First I am very pleased to
announce that we have the final piece to the EDEN
jigsaw. Joining the band on keyboards/guitars is James
Screaton. Due to some songs not having any keyboards but
more than one guitar part and some songs that require
both, James fits the bill perfectly. Once Vince has
finished touring with Bob Catley (in a weeks time) we
plan to hit the rehearsal room for the first time!
Another gig for your diaries!
Al and Paul both play in Ozzy cover band Ozzmosis, and "Ozzy"
is happy to have us tag along as support where ever it's
possible. This is great for us as they play in front of
good size crowds in good venues and lets face it, it's
all about exposure. So the first confirmed gig with
Ozzmosis is July 8th at Dudley JB's. I am sure that I
don't have to remind you that this is the weekend after
the album's release so lets treat it as the launch and
get your bums down to the JB!!
We are in the process of building a myspace site. Not
much on it at the moment but feel free to do whatever it
is people do on myspace (I have no idea) the address is:
www.myspace.com/edenopenminds Thats all for now, catch
you on the forum.
Cya,
Nick
Friday 7th April 2006
Hi folks. Another gig date can now be put into the
diary!! EDEN have been confirmed to appear at Z-rock 2
on September 24th at Dudley JB's (more or less a home
town gig!) Ex Little Angel's frontman Toby Jepson is
also confirmed and other acts are to be added. A link to
the Z rock site is in the links page (of course!!).
I hope to confirm another gig soon but I am still
waiting on confirmation.
Other news for you. Well, we have now chosen the artwork
for the cover of "Open Minds" and it looks fantastic!! I
have to say I look forward wearing it on a T shirt
(which we will be selling on this website and at our
gigs). The shop (EDENVILLE) wont go live until the album
comes out in June.
No other bits to tell of yet but stay toooned!!!!

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE...
Majestic Rock Records are proud to be able to announce
the signing to the label of Eden, one of the most
significant and exciting new bands to come out of the UK
in a fair while. Featuring Kick vocalist Nick Workman
and Pulse / Bob Catley guitarist Vince O'Regan, you
should all know what to expect, right? Wrong. If you
are already imagining the band's remit to be high
quality, multi layered pop-rock then you're in for a
shock.
Says Majestic Rock A&R man of the band's debut album...
"What struck me about the record was it's earthiness.
This is a rock album, pure n' simple. There's dirt under
the fingernails and the band aren't afraid to work up a
little sweat. The songs groove and growl at you...You're
gonna love it!
Vocalist Nick Workman says "We wanted to do something
unexpected, so we went into the studio with no
preconception of what we wanted to come up with. In fact,
the very first time Vince and I met was in his studio
the day we wrote a track called Love/Hate which kind of
set the tone of the album....full on, in your face rock
songs!!"
Bass and drum duties for the self produced album come
courtesy of Al Mills and Paul Rodgers respectively, and
"Open Minds" is due for release on June 29th with the
band lining up some high profile shows this summer. If
you want to get down n' dirty with Eden, keep your eyes
on the press for developments.
Monday 20th March 2006
Here is the first picture of EDEN. Yeah, I know what you
are thinking "what a rabble"! Jon Bon Jovi may not be
about to give up his sex-god crown, but fuck me these
guys can play. On the bass and drums are Al Mills and
Paul Rodgers. They jam together on a regular basis and
it shows!! These guys are tighter than a
nuns.............! On guitar, as you know is my main man
Vince. Together I believe that we have put together an
album of 11 quality tunes that I am sure you will enjoy.
By the end of the week I will give you details of who we
are signed with and when the album is due for release.
It's not far away now. Stay toooned!
Cya,
Nick
Monday 13th March 2006
Hi folks
I know it’s been a while but up until now we have had no
developments. This update holds only a couple of bits of
news, but I hope to follow it up very shortly with a
load more details for you.
I am pleased to announce that we are now confirmed for
this years Bloodstock. We are not playing on the main
stage, but we are in the Darwin Suite. A headliner for
that stage has yet to be announced, but we are second on
the bill to whoever that may be. The date we are
playing is September 29th 2006. To keep up to date with
Bloodstock just click on the link on the new links page.
We are trying to sort other gigs for early summer, so
don’t think that you have to wait until September to see
EDEN live!!
In my next update I will be announcing who we will be
releasing our first CD through. We have also decided on
calling the album “Open Minds”. Also the next update
will feature some pix from the first official EDEN photo
shoot with the complete line up!! The photo shoot is set
to take place next Sunday.
That’s all for now, but stay tuned because things are
starting to take shape.
Cya,
Nick
Thursday 19th January 2006
Long time no speak. I am afraid that this update holds
some baaaaaaaaad news. Maymies nightclub is at present
not running. I don’t know the full details but it has
something to do with investors and money or something
like that. Anyway, this I’m afraid means that the debut
gig is no longer on!! I am so sorry. Believe me when I
say that Vince and I are gutted. We had put in a lot of
work for this gig but it just wasn’t to be. Powerzone
promotions, who organise the Frontiers Rock Night have
said that they would like to reschedule once things are
back up and running. In the meantime, we are trying to
set some other stuff up, but rather than a one off gig
we would rather do a series of dates. Obviously we have
just been hit with this news so I can’t say where and
when yet, but I will keep you posted.
On a brighter note, the album is now recorded and now
it’s just down to the mixing, which shouldn’t take long
as we have been mixing as we go. The album should be
100% completed by the end of January. Songs to be
included on the album are:
Close Your Eyes
Love/Hate
Fools Parade
Incomplete
Chase The Sun
Heads Up
How Far You Are
Back For More
All Fall Down
Erase & Rewind
On A Day Like Today
I can’t wait for you all to hear it.
Once again, I am so sorry about the gig, it is totally
out of our hands (and Powerzone Promotions). We will try
and sort something asap.
Cheers,
Nick
Friday 22nd December 2005
We wish you a merry Christmas, We wish you a merry
Christmas We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new
year!!
Vince and I have finished recording 11 tracks now. They
need a bit of fine tuning but are almost there. We will
write and record one more track after the gig.
I have just started reaching out to a few record
companies now, but with it being Christmas I will really
go for it in the new year. Thanks for all your comments
regarding the soundbytes. As I mentioned in the forum,
these are just rough mixes, so don't judge the
production just yet.
When we start rehearsals we will get a camera clicking
away so we can get some more pix on the site for you. We
are also looking at getting a small number of t-shirts
done for the gig.
Everyone have a happy and safe Christmas and new year. I
hope to see a few of you at Maymies on the 27th.
Cheers,
Nick
Friday 9th December 2005
A Brief Update.
As promised, if you head over to the Sneak Peak page you
will find 3 sound clips!! The first song is called
Love/Hate (the first track we recorded) which is followed
by Incomplete and then Fools Parade. No reasons for
choosing these tracks, we just put on the first 3 we
came to. I hope you all enjoy them and feel free to let
us know what you think (be kind!).
Album Update.
We have now recorded 9 songs. So only three more to go!!
We hope to get a couple more done before Christmas. They
are written so it's just down to getting in to the
studio.
Later,
Nick
Tuesday 6th December 2005
Oooooooooooooonly me!!
Hope you are all doing well and have are getting into to
the Christmas spirits!!
Album update.
Things are going very, very well at present. Vince and I
finally got back into the studio last week. We are now
up to 8 songs and song 9 is written and ready to go next
week. It could even be 10 songs completed by next week
due to the fact that we recorded a song a few months
back that was a right corker, but we felt it didn't fit
with the other songs. However, now we have a couple of
songs that kind of bridge the gap and it's back in
contention. I'm really pleased because "Neon Lights"
(another song title for you, how generous am I?) is a
really cool song!!! With that in mind, we are only a
couple of songs off completion, give or take a bit of
tweaking here and there.
The plan of action.
Next weeks session in the studio will be the last one
before Christmas as Vince is finishing up the album he
has been working on. After we have all recovered we will
start rehearsals for the gig at Maymies . After the gig
we will probably have to record 2 more songs to finish
the album.
And then...
We start to hassle record companies into giving us a
deal!!!!!
One final bit of good news for you. At the end of next
week or beginning of the following week, we will have
put a couple of samples on the site for you all.
Christmas comes early in EDEN! I don't know which ones
yet but I am sure you will enjoy them.
So let all your mates know about the gig and start
getting the spandex out of the cupboard 'cause Jan 27th
ain't that far away………………..c'mon on!!!
Later,
Nick
Friday 11th November 2005
Hello again!
As promised but a little late, the next instalment, and
as the saying goes "Have I got news for you!!"?
Well I'm gonna save the best bit until the end. Of
course you could just scroll down and read that bit
first but where's the fun in that. Ok, I'm rambling so
lets cut to the chase.
EDEN album update.
Vince is still finishing up production duties on the new
Lost Weekend CD. It's over run by a couple of weeks so
we are obviously delayed in getting on with the album.
No more songs have been recorded but we both have a load
of ideas that we are going to piece together on Thursday
(17th). Following that we will be back on recording a
song a week!! Now, there is another tiny delay which is
part of the good bit at the end, so we now don't expect
to finish the album until Christmas.
Record contracts and stuff!!
We still have not progressed much on that front because
we haven't finished. However, we have sent a few songs
to assorted people at a couple of companies and the
feedback has been very positive. To be honest, without
wanting to sound arrogant, a record deal is not anything
we are worried about. At the end of the day if we don't
get a deal we will release it ourselves. The only reason
we aren't doing that now is that it's too much hassle.
Other bits and bobs!
I will try and answer any questions you post on the
message board or send through the contacts link. Phil
asked about Al Barrow. To be honest Al has been too busy
with other commitments since we began recording and
writing so he has not had much involvement so far. He
has come down to the studio a few times to hear what we
are doing but hasn't played any bass parts as of yet. Al
said from the beginning that due to his Magnum
commitments it's unlikely that he would be available for
many gigs, so his involvement will mainly be studio work
at this time. I hope to have a few more pix for the
gallery over the next couple of weeks.
And finally…
Well for a long while you have all been asking about
gigs (KICK fans in particular) and I am very, very
pleased to tell you that we are doing a one off (so far)
gig at the rock night at Maymies night club in Cannock
on January 27th 2006. I cant tell you how f***ing
excited I am!!! Maybe excitement coupled with "oh F***
we haven't written the songs yet"!!! We will be looking
at playing for around an hour and testing out all of the
new stuff on you. So feel free to let us know what you
think after the gig.
Vince and I will be joined on stage
by Drummer Mick Hales and bassist Alan Mills. We plan to
start rehearsing once Vince has done a couple of gigs
with Pulse. Due to rehearsing it will delay recording
but I figure you may forgive us? Al and Mick are pro's
so it wont take them long to get their shit together. It
will probably be me and Vince dragging our heels!!
Anyway, bring your camera and take loads of photos and
send them in. It will be great to get to meet all of you and
thank you all for your support for a band who you
haven't even heard yet.
I'm gonna sign off now. I hope the news is what you all
wanted to hear.
Cheers,
Nick

Hey all!!
As promised an update but sadly not a lot to report.
Vince is still very busy on production duties elsewhere
but is not far from completion. This means we will be
back bustin' our balls again on EDEN very soon!! We hope
to be back in the studio on Sunday to patch a few bits
here and there, but to also get a load of ideas together
to work on. The plan is still to have the album done by
the end of November.
Regarding gigs? Well, we are looking at a couple of
possibilities for the end of the year or beginning of
next. This is something we really want to do so we can
try out the new stuff on you lot and hear what you all
have to say (you will have to be kind)!!! As soon as we
have it sorted we will let you know.
Please feel free to send any question to us through the
contacts link. I will put all answers on my next update
which should be next week if we get in the studio this
Sunday. Also let me know what info you would like on
these updates and ideas for the website in general.
That's all for now so go and do yourselves all a favour
and go out and buy the Alter Bridge cd.
Cya,
Nick

Well how you all doin'?
Welcome to our brand new website where you can find out
all the goings on with our new band EDEN. It is our
intention to keep you all updated with the progress we
are making, with what will be our first album.
So what stage are we at right now? Well, we have written
and recorded 7 songs so far. We want to record another 6
or 7 tracks before the end of November and the signs are
good. The only delay we have is in October, when Vince
is producing another album. In that time we will write
the remaining songs so that we can put them down in
November.
Song titles so far? I'll give you 2 'cause I am feeling
generous and also because they may change! The first
track we wrote and recorded is called "Love/Hate" which
is a full on grooving rocker (Led Zep meets Nickelback
apparently!!), and the second is called "Fools Parade"
which comes in at over 6 minutes but only feels like 3.
A very atmospheric song that will be a favourite with
many I reckon.
Outside of the studio, the plan over the next few weeks
is to speak to a few prospective labels and see what
deals are chucked on the table. I can't really say
anymore on that front right now as we haven't really
looked into it yet.
We will add a few studio pix next week and gradually
develop the site as we go. Obviously tour dates have yet
to be arranged but we do intend on doing a few gigs
early next year prior to the release of the album. Sneak
peak will have a few snippets of songs once they are
100% finished.
So log in and check out what's happening in EDEN!!!
Cheers for now,
Nick
